Who we are

Subic Fishing and Yacht Charter (“we”, “us”) runs fishing trips, yacht charters and water activities in Subic Bay. We decide how the personal information described here is used, which makes us the personal information controller under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173). What we collect

We collect only what we need to run your trip:

• Booking details: the activity, package, date, time, number of guests and any extras you choose.
• Your contact details: full name, email address, mobile number and nationality.
• Anything you choose to write in the notes of a booking or in a message to us.
• Payment status and amounts. Card, GCash and Maya details are entered on PayMongo’s secure payment page. We never see or store your card number or wallet password.
• Messages you send through the contact form.
• If you create an account: your email address, a password (kept only in a scrambled form that we cannot read) and the profile details you choose to add, such as your name, mobile number and nationality.

Why we use it

We use your information to:

• take and confirm your booking, and collect your payment;
• contact you about your trip, such as confirmations, changes or weather;
• prepare for your trip safely, including passenger lists where maritime and port rules require them;
• answer your questions and keep records for accounting, tax and legal purposes.

Cookies and tracking

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. While you fill in the checkout form, your browser keeps your entries for the current visit so you do not lose them; they are cleared when you close the tab. If you sign in to an account, your browser also keeps your sign-in on this device until you sign out.

Your account

An account is optional: you can always book without one. It lets you see your bookings in one place and fills in your details at checkout. You can change your profile or delete your account at any time from the Account page. Deleting it removes your profile and sign-in. Booking records are kept for our accounting and legal duties, but are no longer linked to you.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. We share it only with the services that help us run the booking, and only what they need:

• PayMongo, which processes your payment.
• Supabase, which hosts our booking database in Singapore.
• Hostinger, which hosts this website.
• Our email provider, which sends your confirmation and replies.
• Government or port authorities, when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep booking records for as long as needed to provide your trip, handle any questions or complaints afterwards, and meet our legal, tax and accounting duties. After that we delete or anonymise them. Contact messages are kept only while we are dealing with your request.

How we protect it

The website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Bookings are stored in a protected database, and only authorised staff with a password-protected login can see them. No system is perfectly secure, so if we ever learn of a breach that affects you, we will tell you and the National Privacy Commission as the law requires.

Your rights

Under the Data Privacy Act you have the right to:

• be informed about how we use your information;
• ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
• ask us to correct information that is wrong or out of date;
• object to certain uses, or ask us to block or delete your information, where the law allows;
• receive your information in a common electronic format;
• claim compensation if you are harmed by a misuse of your information;
• complain to the National Privacy Commission at privacy.gov.ph.

Children

Bookings that include children must be made by a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children.

Changes to this notice

If we change how we use your information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
